Confinement Period - Giselle 0 months old

The hardest part (for me) about having a baby is not the giving birth process, it's the 1st month after birth! The terrible and horrible confinement period!! aahh.. just thinking about it still gives me the chill.. Thank God it's OVER!!

During the 1st week of confinement, not only my "wounded" area hurts like hell, I had to eat the same thing over and over again for breakfast + lunch + dinner. Needing to take care of the baby again at night with a terrible backache.. aahh.. just thinking of all that really makes me doubt I'll even have a 2nd child.

Upon entering the 3rd week of confinement, everything started to look a lot better. My crazy hormons are starting to get back on tracks meaning no more sudden tears dropping or getting too emotional. And I can start watching TVs and do some reading as the old ppl keep on saying that if u use too much of ur eyes to read/see things during the first 2 weeks of confinement, you will injured ur eye sight worr.. (altho I still ada curi-curi tengok FB and watch some TV la.. haha..)

At first, I was a bit worried cause upon entering the 4th week of confinement, little Giselle still look a bit dark skin! Me and my husband are both famous of being VERY fair-skin so having a dark skin baby might raise a lot of questions.. hahha.. It's weird, during the 1st month, Giselle keep on changing skin colour from pink - red - brown - fair!

My little girl is very on-time when it comes to her milk feeding time. Not a minute less. So got to make sure that I feed her on time or else she'll be throwing us crazy tantrum!

Thanks for all those nice gifts and dresses all of u gave her. I'm really working very hard to make sure she wears and uses all of it - seems like size 0-3 months dresses doesn't fit her anymore nowadays ;o( She is really growing up FAST! The next thing u know, she is getting married liao *gulp*
